Throughout history, suicide has been judged in dissimilar ways: there are those who claim it as a right and who condemn it as a sin inspired by the devil. "Punto de clivaje: El suicidio en la literatura" delves into this act through various literary and philosophical sources, tracing a historical journey through the experiences of three authors -- Horacio Quiroga, Juan Carlos Onetty and Jorge Semprun -- who, after having felt suicide as a dangerous temptation, portrayed it again and again in their work and transformed it from a physical act into an idea for creation.
