Desde 1997, el artista Richard Corben ha creado un puñado de joyas para el sello Vertigo que ECC recopila ahora en una antología indispensable. Este volumen incluye el cómic monográfico Solo, sus episodios como artista invitado en la serie Swamp Thing y sus páginas en revistas tan heterogéneas como House of Mistery, American Splendor, Strange Adventures o Weird War Tales. Con la energía que caracteriza su trabajo, Corben imprime en cada imagen el sello inconfundible de un creador magistral.

Autor de obras maestras de la historieta como Den, Bloodstar o Rip in time, Corben es una leyenda viva del mundo del cómic. Desde mediados de los noventa trabaja casi en exclusiva para las compañías Marvel, Dark Horse y DC Comics.
